Entry 6: My Test Taking Strategies

   
       
       In my opinion, effective study strategies are the gateway to desirable destination . In this entry I  will explain about my usual test taking strategy that represents the key to my success. It covers whole testing process and has some basic steps that show the sequence of things to do.
Firstly, I spend a lot of time to learn the material that will be based on the test to achieve a high score. Because I think that there is no substitute for well preparation. Secondly, I always try to arrive early and take time to relax before doing the test. It helps to increase confidence for myself. Moreover, listening attentively to instructions given by the teacher is the way of avoiding test anxiety. When the time is started to do the test, I read the test directions very carefully in order to understand what is being asked. If I encounter confusing questions, answer the questions I know first not wasting time. I consider final essential step on completing the test successfully is planning to finish early take time for review. It can give a chance for remembering forgotten details . 
      I recommend this strategy which is useful for students.

Entry 2: My computer skills: Strengths and weaknesses

             During two  terms we learned Information technology so we can examine our IT skills. In my humble opinion, now I have enough knowledge to work with new technologies. Because I can use Microsoft programs without any difficulties. Also I know computer’s keyboard’s ability, that’s why I can easily use them depending on their functions. Furthermore, I know exactly working with computer’s additional tools, how they join together, give what kind of opportunities  and so on. And I can make any kind of tests, questions , as well as e-books  using iSpring program. Nevertheless, I have  some weaknesses with IT which I sometimes face when doing lessons. Entry 4: Am I slow or fast reader? (based on internet offered tests results)

      http://www.readingsoft.com /     I consider myself as a fast reader according to my online test results.       Usually, fasters are considered as   readers 400 or 500 words in one minute. To my mind, there are many pros of being fast reader for myself  in order to manage the given time for doing the test. For instance, after completing to read the question quickly, I have enough time to analyze it and find the correct answer connecting with other materials which explain the given issue. Firstly, organizing the time  properly I answered known questions so that I will have enough time to think about difficult ones. Moreover, these following things which I typically do help me to achieve high results:  -  to pay attention the purpose of the question; -  to understand  its main idea, look for; -  to underline key words , basic details.
